Escort card question!!! HELP!

Hi ladies! So I am going back and fourth about my escort cards/seating chart. I love the idea of having different picture frames with a seating chart in them, but I am afraid people will forget their table number if it's just displayed and they don't have a card to take. What is your opinion on this? Has anyone been to a wedding with just a seating chart? THANKS!

I never been but I love the idea!! I dont think people will really forget once they know who they are sitting by and where in the room there table is. Ive always been to weddings with cards. You could always leave the chart somewhere if need be.

Thanks for your opinions!! The seating chart will remain on the table during/after the cocktail hour but I didn't want people forgetting and having to go look back but I guess it's not a big deal. I tend to over think EVERYTHING haha hence why I wanted some more opinions :)

i want to do a picture frame for each table but dont want to make the extra spend so i'll just use the cards our venue gives us :(

I've been to two weddings that did the seating chart in a frame. It is posted during cocktail hour. FH and I usually go before Cocktail hour ends to see our table #. You shouldn't have a problem.

I plan on doing the same thing by posting it and not having cards. I think it's a 'less messy' idea :)

i've been to several weddings at this point that only had a seating chart and not cards. it worked out fine every time!

I agree! Less messy and more of a modern idea in my opinion. I think I'm going to try and find some large vintage looking picture frames and print out it out in a nice font. We will see how my idea unfolds :)

I think it's a great idea! I've seen it a lot on Pinterest. If I weren't doing skeleton keys with tags I would have probably done a board of some sort.
