Thank god a good friend of mine is a calligrapher she's doing it for free but I know some people do labels or just print it directly on the card
I saw in michaels they have printable ones and it's $5 for 50 and then you don't have to worry about handwriting or paying a calligrapher. If you need 200 escort cards, max you'll spend is $20 without coupons (which michaels and AC Moore always have) and that'll be a lot less than the cost of a calligrapher.
My venue also gave us escort cards, but I didn't like them. I'm getting them through our invitation place with a discount.
I'm not using the venue ones. I'm printing on labels and attaching the stickers to the favors which will be when you walk in.
