Escorting the Bridal Party

During the ceremony does it matter if the MOH and BM are escorted by the GM? I'm not sure which way to have them walk down the aisle. Any opinions?

I don't think it matters but most weddings I've gone to the BM are escorted by the GM and the MOH walks alone ahead of the bride.

I'm having the guys escort the girls...then my matron of honor will walk down with my flower girl and then my MOH will walk alone ahead of me.

I don't think that it really matters- it's a personal preference on how you want the processional to be. We have an uneven amount of groomsmen and bridesmaids so I am going to have them walk down individually and then walk back together in some combination.

My bridemaids were escorted by the Groomsmen. My Maids of Honor walked down alone and the best men stayed at the alter with my DH.

My MOH walked alone. Our BM was standing by my groom as his 'right hand man' at the alter. The rest of our wedding party was paired together throughout the day and night.

BM #1 with GM #1
BM #2 with GM #2
Jr. BM with Jr. GM

IMHO, it's YOUR wedding you decide who walks with who. You're in control as long as it's right to you that what matters.
