Essence of Australia dress?

Essence of Australia dress?

I've been looking at wedding dresses online for awhile, and today in the store, I picked up a wedding magazine.. Flipping through it, I saw MANY beautiful dresses.. And then I found one I LOVED. It was on a page all of it's own, and I was SURE it was probably $4k or so.. It looked so beautiful.

Well.. I searched it online, and the dress I fell in love with is only $1200-1500 or so it seems.. Compared to what I thought, I'm stunned and now I'm eager to go try it on.

The last dress I fell in love with was a Romona Keveza, which is about $4800 new,and I found on one site as a sample for $2500, already sold and everything.

My question is has anyone ever tried on an Essence of Australia dress? Maybe wore one on their day? I'm just stunned by the price, comparing to what I've been seeing, and I just want to know if they're quality dresses.. I really want something that feels nice, and looks gorgeous. I've never heard of them, and neither have my fiance's mom or sister so I'm not sure at all.

I'm hoping that it's just a name that's not massive yet, and instead you pay for the quality, not the designer label.

They're GORGEOUS. I'm hoping someone can provide us with some insight, hehe! :)

This is the one I currently have a massive crush on.. I think it looks amazing, and my fiance's mother, sister, and I were all 'Aw.. That's gotta be a $4k-5k dress, ohwell.' But it's VERY affordable (in comparison, at least!) And usually I like more dresses that are more flowy, and loose.

the dress is gorgeous! just make sure you take note that the price range listed is GB pounds, not US dollars. that would make the dress start at $1500 to $2500.

STILL not $4000 but didn't know how strict your budget was.

Oh, yes. :) I just linked that one because it's the only site I found with zoomed in detail on the beads, the rest were just the full body.. One website sent me a quote of $1259, and a few others listed it at $1000-1500 US.. I think one I saw had it listed for in the $2000s, which seems high compared to the others.

Thanks though! Appreciate you looking out. :) Normally I miss things like that, I'm so bad about that kind of thing, but this is, of course, VERY serious! Haha.

That's strange.. It's not like you said anything wrong, weird! :(

Yeah.. The price is perfect, my fiance said he expected to be paying more, but I'm trying to stay under $2k and keep a budget . We'll probably be paying for the majority of the wedding ourselves, so I'm trying to keep it reasonable for us. I just want a beautifully made dress at the same time, though!

My coworker's daughter just ordered one. I havent seen them in person but she tried on a million dresses and got to the EOA dress and fell in love.

I too had a thing for an essence of australia dress. it was nowhere to be found.
there were a few stores who claimed to carry those dresses.... but when you go there they have HARDLY ANY of the dresses in the store and to order them they charge you about $75.... that's just to order one to the store to try on! Sometimes if you do end up buying it... they take that money off.
I was annoyed at 2 stores for lying saying that they had the dress I was looking for. Only to get there and they wanted me to pay to order it to try on.... and I wasn't even sure if I wanted it or not... I had my eye on a few dresses..... so it would have cost me a lot just to try on dresses.

I gave up on them. I think it's easier to find them in other areas of the US.
