Hey, First of all thank you to all of you who responded to my urgent 'NYC bridal stores to try on today sat' post...your bridal building help was most appreciated. Went there and while a lot of the stores were actually closed I happened upon this small store that didnt look like much but there in the midst of all the beading and hoops was a plain dress that seems perfect for the kind of small informal wedding I will be having....designer Essence of australia...have to order it by monday and have sent lots of shout outs to the online stores for pricing...any thoughts on Essence anyone? Side Note: Also ended up in RK and my advice is to go there first thing and if you can get an appt with Olga go with her. She is great...

essense dresses are really nice - i tried on a whole bunch while in australia - almost bought one
If i were yoiu - i would order regularly or no frills from RK bridal -probably your cheapest place
oh one hint- watch how you spell 'essense' it is spelled the English way - they like to use s'

Thank you so much for your help. You are very good at replying to posts...thanks. I knew about the spelling diff and duh! forgot so thanks for reminding me. Thanks for the input and I think I will do either netbride or gownfinder as RK dont have any relationship developed with Essense yet and the guy there on sat said he couldnt guarantee it would be in on time.....

I tried on a couple of these dresses and they were very well made. They are supposed to be a good value for the money according to the store where I tried them on. I ended up getting a Maggie Sottero though.
