Estate at East Wind Brides!!! More reviews added as of 7/5/04
My best friend was married yesterday at the estate and I must tell you that it must have been the best wedding I have ever been to ( although being the Maid of Honor...I am a little biased![]()
). My friend had went out of her way to add special touches to her wedding which was all handled perfectly by the Maitre'D. The food was out of this world she had the almond crusted chicken, Filet mignon and veal sorrentino as entrees. They did give her the wrong entree for her chicken which was originally noted on the contract. But this was okay as everyone raved about the meals. They also only had three entrees to chose from rather than the four she thought she would have. Again, not a huge deal. Her cake was gorgeous and delicious. Her photographer was ADA and they were wonderful. They were not obtrusive and did exactly what the bride and groom wanted. The even said that the would do special pictures for the bridal parties significant others. He was attentive to the fact that the bride and groom did not wish to miss their cocktail hour. (They didn't) Tommy Tunes was incredible and played the best music ever!!! Everyone was dancing all night long. Flowers by Rose Marie was the private florist that she used. The flowers were beautiful and fresh. Everyone commented on our bouquets. Girls who are using the East wind for their reception need not worry !!! FM me for other details!!!
I forgot to mention that the used Sir Oliver Limos (Hummer). The owner was the one who drive us and let me tell you that you got what you paid for and then some. He was amazing. He was acting as wedding coordinator in the church to help ensure that everyone walked done the aisle as perfectily as possible adjusting bridesmaid bustles if needed! Absolutly terrific service. Highly recommend them!! Our Hair and make-up were done at the Cactus Salon and day spa in Islip. What a terrific professional team! Our hair and make-up were absolutely stunning! We used Macy's at the Smithhven Mall for our dresses. They were a little more expensive than most places and the service was okay. The alteractions to the brides gown and bridesmaids' gowns were great. The bride e only needed one fitting and they also mangaged to get someone who was also 8 months pregnant into a corset top bridesmaid gown. If thats not talent, then I do not know what is.
