What kind of dresses do they have there?

They have some stuff- but personally I don't think they have anything that is so different that it is worth driving all the way out there for.

Ive purchased a few special occassion dresses there. IMO they didnt have an extremely large selection of bridal gowns like a bridal salon would.

They have some nice stuff, but their selection is limited, and the prices seemed good.

I got my FG dresses there. It's not to far for me to travel there. I paid $50 per dress...it was worth it. I refused to spend $100's on a dress they will only wear for one day. The dreeses are really cute. I normally don't go there to look for formal wear...for myself, I would rather go to a dept. store.

It's definitely hit or miss... i got an awesome dress there years ago for $60 (worth more) and ive worn it many times...
I went there in Dec. to find a nice New Years dress and anything i liked was damaged somehow. The selection wasn't as good. It may be worth it to check it out

They have stuff more for going to a wedding. For your E party try Lord & Taylor or a more upscale store. Not Estelle's

My FMIL got her dress for our wedding there. I haven't seen it yet but she said its exactly what she was looking for and the price was right.

I would agree it's hit or miss I went to look for my dress and the lady was nasty to my mom and I and they did not have many dresses at all.

My grandma got her dress there. I was amazed at the selection. They also have alot of shoes and bags.

My mom got her dress there. The prices are very reasonable, but you have to search through the racks.

its hit or miss there, and a lot of the clothes there have stains on them- dirt or deoderant. they dont keep good care of the stuff there, but if u want to go somewhere for a cheap dress, you might find something. i just got mine at lord and taylors. they had the same dresses and nicer ones that are in good condition.

I got about three dresses in three years from them... You have to search a bit to find the good stuff

I don't like Estelles-it's a madhouse on the weekends...I could never seem to find what I want. I just don't seem to have any luck when shopping there. One of my friends goes all the time, always finds great dresses, fit perfectly off the rack, always on sale.

Are you in the area? If so, it's worth a look. I'm in Queens and wouldn't make a special trip just to go there.

I BOUGHT MY WEDDING DRESS THERE AND I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH IT!! ITS SO PRETTY I WISH I COULD POST A PIC OF IT BUT I DONT KNOW HOW.

I dont think estelle's would satisfy your expectations,personally i think they have lovely gowns&dresses
