I am trying to decide if I should get an eternity wedding band or just go 1/2 way around. I orignallly wanted 1/2 way because I was afraid of the stones on the bottom getting damaged. But now every is telling me to get the eternity all the way around b/c it looks the same always and you dotn have to worry if it twisted the wrong way, yadda, yadda, its classic blah blah blah.
What do you guys think? I am so not into jewerly, never was but I want a nice wedding band.

I went back out again with FH tonight trying on rings and I think I am going to go with 1/2 way. I am going to sleep on it at least and see if thats how I feel about it tomorrow LOL. Its so confusing. I know everything else I want about the ring except this one factor.Thanks ladies for all your input

My FH actaully gave me a wedding band last year for valentines day... and it has princess cut diamonds 1/2 around... he got this one becuase you can get bigger diamonds on the top instead of paying for smaller ones all around.... I LOVE MY RING...
E Ring is a princess cut stone...
He picked very good rings!
But try them on... its different after trying them on.

do the whole way around..you dont have to get huge diamonds unless you want it i din't want the whole spreading of the fingers thing....so i got a smaller band with diamonds all around....here it is....its 'RITANI' it matches my engagement ring....
I love the eternity bands but I dont think its practical...no one is ever going to see have of the stones and its cheaper, JMO

I tried on the eternity band and found that having rocks on the sides of my fingers wasn't comfortable. Plus, on one ever sees the diamonds on the inside. I went with half.

UPDATE: I went to Linda Shop tonight in Massapequa and ordered the ring I was thinking about and decided to get just more than 1/2 way around. It just felt right, that was what I originally wanted anyway. Its a channel set band with princess cut stones, It looks amazing with my eng ring so I am really happy. They were beyond great there as well for anyone else who is looking

well it would be cheaper to get it half way...plus no one will be able to tell the difference!! i have two and they are 1/2...
IMO - You can totally tell if the diamonds go all the way around or just half way! They both look nice - it just depends on your e-ring which looks nicer.

bottom line- its very expensive (if not imposible) to get it sized i say go halfway! plus the eternity bands do spread your fingers apart
YUP!!! The jeweler told me the same thing. Once you gain weight (pregnant) your ring won't fit and you'll be sad that you can't wear it, since you can't get it sized.

Congrats! That's what I'm ordering...1/2 way around, channel set, princess cut stones. The only thing different is mine with have the milgrain edging! What's your e-ring like?
