Would it be dumb if I got a w-eternity band?? do I really have to wait for a milestone anniversary to get & wear one??
My cousin was bad-mouthing someone who just got married and basically said 'who in their right effin' mind gets an eternity band for a wedding band... normally people for them for major wedding anniversaries' I know that was so wrong of her.. but now she has me thinking twice about.. b/c I wanted to get one...
what do you gals think?

Re: Eternity W-Bands
Eternity bands are very common now. If you like the bling then why not get it? I got a semi-eternity for my band.

Re: Eternity W-Bands
There is nothing wrong with getting an eternity wedding band. I know PLENTY of brides who love the 'bling factor' and just had to have one for their wedding. It's all up to you. Go for what you love.
The only thing I would warn you about is that with an eternity band, you have to get the whole ring reset if you gain/loose weight because the existing band can't be resized. Because of this, many brides are opting for diamonds that go halfway around the ring (but it still looks like an eternity band when you wear it).

I agree! I love the look just be careful what you wish for! It just seems to me that having diamonds all the way around could cause comfort issues as well as sizing issues. My FH and I went to at least 10 different jewlers to get my finger sized. Great - 6 1/2 exactly - got my engagement ring and it's a 1/4 size too big. I've been wearing it on my middle finger ever since! (I just don't want to take it off, silly, I know.)
However, there is NOTHING WRONG with getting an eternity wedding band if you want one. What is with all the damn rules!? People can be so quick to judge. Go for it!

I totally agree with this but even if you get a semi eternity band and lose weight you'll STILL have to get the entire ring reset because if not you'll end up loosening the stones...
I have to get mine reset...

Re: Eternity W-Bands
well considering that I have an e-ring eternity band setting plus I'm getting a matching wedding band. I don't think there's anything wrong with it!

My wedding band will be an eternity band as well. Who goes along with tradition anymore anyway? If you want it, go for it!
