so as guests are rsvping no, a lot of them are sending checks with their rsvps. are u supposed to hold all these checks and deposit them with the rest of our checks we get at the wedding? or are we supposed to cash them now as they're coming in? does that make us seem greedy? what did everyone else do?

Re: etiquette for checks???
I say cash them now. If people wanted you to wait until the wedding they would date it the day of, or send it with a card separately.

Re: etiquette for checks???
I deposited them as I received them, I didn't want to screw up the people's checking accounts. I know when I write out a check, it drives me crazy if the person doesn't cash it right away.

Re: etiquette for checks???
This is just a personal opinion....but I think ALL checks should be cashed asap so people can keep track of their finances. They are intending for that money to go to you and out of their account. If you leave it sit there- they may forget and assume that you have already taken the funds and over spend/ overdraw?
Maybe I'm wrong though?
I say deposit/ cash them STAT!

Re: etiquette for checks???
Cash them now but send a thank you first. I hate when I send someone a check and it takes them forever to cash it. I sent someone a check the 2nd week of June and she still hasn't cashed it.
