Re: Etiquette Invite question..
tricky...what i would do, and by all means you dont have to do it this way, but what i would do is just ask them. i find that if you ask questions about people who either are a different culture, religion, and even sexual orientation if you are being genuine and just ask people are usually more than willing to discuss things. I find that people appreciate it that you show an interest and concern for their feelings. You could say something like, I'm not sure how you would feel most comfortable but I want to invite you and your partner to my wedding, how should I address the invite and evelope in a way that is appropriate for the 2 of you. Sorry this is so long! HTH!

Re: Etiquette Invite question..
This is a tough one, I would say if they live together, they would get one invitation, that's how we're doing it, I don't know EXACT etiquette but I would do Mr. Joseph Smith and Mr. Michael Brown, on separate lines, HTH

Re: Etiquette Invite question..
just ask them, if you are close enough that you are inviting them , then you should be able to just ask. they will understand. I was in the same boat, it all worked out

That's how I would do it as well. Just because two men are roommates doesn't necessarily imply anything, although in this case obviously that is the case. If they live at the same address, I would put it on two separate lines, but no AND in between, because the 'and' is what implies the coupledom, if you are concerned about being discreet.

FH has a friend, same situation, we are putting both their names on the same invite.
