etiquette question

Do the bride and groom pay for accommodation for out of town attendants, those who have to fly in?

Emily Post says no. I have never been an OOT bm, so I don't have any experience with this.

I have searched, but can't find much on this question.

Can you brides weigh in on the usually done thing? I would appreciate the advice.

etiquette question

That would be nice but no! I've been an OOT and I've paid for my accommodations and gave a gift. Even for a destination wedding the guest pays for themselves... Save your money!!!

No they should pay for their own accommodations

This. If money is a problem, offer to pay for the dress, tux, hair or make-up. Not the room or air.

etiquette question

Definitely not. If cost is a problem for out of town attendants them they should have declined when they were asked to assume that role.
