Etsy help

if you have a question about something you can contact the seller about it or if they are selling sonething that you need more of or want to modify it you should contact them. but if it's something you want as is then just put it in your cart and buy it and if its something you have to specify like color or something there's an option when you check out to send a message to the seller. you dont always have to have a convo with them tho unless there is something specific you have to say. oh andd i;m pretty sure you get a response through etsy and email but you reply back through etsy =]

Hey folks,
As an Etsy shop owner (www.doingitherself.etsy.com) and a 2010 bride - to buy something on Etsy, it's a 2 step process. Put the item in your cart and go to 'Checkout'. Then, you have to pay separately from Paypal. (The website will prompt you and show you how.)

If you want to order something custom, send the person a 'Convo' or conversation.

Tip:
As you browse you can save to your favorites.. Its easy to do that so you can always go back.. I've ordered there before and I get my package within 2-3 days its amazing.. And the vendors present the purchases as if I am opening a wedding gift.. So exciting...

me too! my first Etsy purchase was my garter set last night! (I've oogled over Etsy for many many months though---i love the stuff on there!)

me too. Ok this is cheezy but I order the garter that is 'the wizard of oz' dorothy pattern. It supposed to be Dorothy's garter on her wedding day made from the blue gingham dress. See the wizard of oz is a long running stupid inside joke with my family (don't ask-my aunt is crazy) so I saw it etsy one day while browsing and knew i had to have it.

I am going to surprise my aunt with it (she has no idea i found it) and use it as my 'something blue'. It even has a tiny pair of red ruby slippers on it. FH does not want to do the garter toss so no one will even see it except the girls getting ready. I just thought it was cute and so different. and my aunt will laugh her butt off!!!!!!!
