Etsy Problem
I'm having a problem with an Etsy vendor
I bought a monogrammed necklace and the vendor told me it would be shipped in 3-5 days. We're now going in on the 10th business day and the vendor won't reply back to my emails. I'm so frustrated because I just want to know if she is still making it!! I feel incredibly ripped off and I think I will need to report an issue. I used an American Express gift card so I dunno how will this work. Has anyone else dealt with this?

oh no :O THANK GOD all my Etsy vendors turned out amazing. Do you still have the gift card? if you have it they will refund it back to it, if not just wait for the person to answer. You'll loose the money either way if you dont wait it out.

I had an issue just like yours. I was told my earrings would be shipped within 4-6 weeks, 4 weeks went by - nothing, 5 weeks went by - nothing, 6 weeks went by - nothing, 7 weeks went by - nothing! Not even a message from the vendor stating she was running behind or something. I ended up messaging her and asking where they were. She finally got back to me and said she would make them that weekend and have them shipped out that week. However, at that point I didn't even want them anymore, so even though they were suppose to be non refundable I told her I think it's in my right to ask for a discount or a full refund as they were way past the 'due date'. Thankfully, she agreed and I got a full refund. However, I did go through paypal which I guess kind of made it easier? I made sure to save all the messages we had just in case I needed to report the vendor. Good Luck!

I will call the number on the back of the AMEX card and see what they suggest about opening a dispute. They should have some kind of guarantee for purchases made with the credit card.Good luck.

The vendor finally got back to me after another followup email. She said she would rush the order to get done this weekend and will ship it out on Monday. I'm crossing my fingers! It's coming from Turkey and I've read a ton of reviews on how orders can get caught in customs for months.
