Etsy Question!

I have a question for you seasoned Etsy buyers!

Do you pay using Paypal? Or do you just use your regular card? I don't know what to do... I have never used Paypal before?

I use PayPal b/c I feel it's more secure...not sure if it is but makes me feel better

*** If you have a PayPal balance, then you will not be able to use the credit card through Paypal, so if you have an adequate Paypal balance (that will cover your purchase) you should transfer your Paypal balance to your personal account before checking out (if you want to use the Paypal credit card option). You will not be able to checkout using the credit card option unless if your Paypal balance is able to cover your purchase (you will not be given the option to choose your credit card if this is the case). So, once your balance is clear, you are ready to checkout-
1) The item is already in your cart
2) Checkout on the Etsy checkout page.
3) Confirm your purchase on the Etsy page- **This does not mean that you paid- it is just to confirm that you are 'bound' and agree to buy the item.
4) When you confirm the purchase with Etsy, you will be brought to a page for payment.. You can pay at any time (meaning you don't have to pay 'immediately' but - in good conscience- you should pay ASAP)
5) On the payment page- If you have a PayPal account- then you select the Paypal icon.
6) If you have already attached a credit card to your Paypal account, then you can select the 'change payment' option on the checkout page.
7) Select 'yes' when asked 'Are you sure you want to change your payment method?'
8) You will be shown the checkout page again- check to make sure you changed the payment method to credit card.
9) Select 'checkout'
10) You will be taken to a transaction complete page.
11) Then you will be given the option to go back to the 'Etsy' webpage.
12) All done!
