I plan on getting an eve of milady dress, however I haven't started yet. But I do plan on going to The Wedding Plaza in Baldwin. From my understanding, they just ordered 10 more dresses from her new line for 2004.

thats where i found the dress but i want to see if i can get it cheaper. no one else carries the dress that i know of so far

I was going to get a eve mylady dress, but whewww.....the prices of the few I saw in the magazines. They are beautiful and pricey. I tried a few on in Long Island........a boutique in Lynbrook LI.

My dress is an EOM and I bought it from Bridal Reflections. I can really the queen of bargain shopping and I had a friend who worked at RK Bridal so initially thought to order it from them. After doing some research and talking to other store, I came to learn that the designer can be challenging to work iwth and didnt always deliver the product to those who she was not exclusive with. Given the price of the dress, I wasnt willing to risk either not getting it or it not fitting me properly (I need hollwo to hem measurements b/c I am 5'11) for a couple of a hundred bucks. I've also learned that if you pay a little more, the salon is going to work really hard to satisfy you should something go wrong, they are less likely to risk their rep. RK Bridal on the other hand, builds their rep on affordably priced dresses. My dress was too uniqe to focus solely on price. When I say unique I mean that the dress has not been made to be let out and can only be taken in at one spot. The overlay is organza with beading around the rim so if it comes in too short they cant take it down. I think it depends on the dress you buy and the designer. Defin. go with someone who has a relationship with her. Also, if the bridal shop doesnt have a relationship, they will probably have to call her to see if she will even agree to fulfill the order. I got my eve of milady dress at kleinfelds. The dress is absolutely gorgeous and the service at kleinfeld was unbelievable. They make you feel so beautiful and important. The selection of dresses there was amazing. Even though Kleinfelds has a reputation of being pricy , I think it is worth the little extra for the royal treatment!
