Eve of Milady Brides.....

How long did your BEAUTIFUL dress take to come in? I just ordered mine on Sat and the place made me put my wedding date for December due to the lengthy wait. NOW my wonderful mom has put in my head that they might do a 'rushed' job. I was worried that they might not even take my order because it was cutting it close. (I heard they take atleast 10 mths) Should I be worried???

Anyone order from Flowerama in Elmont?

Don't worry at all. My sister ordered hers with 10 months to go, the gwn took about 7 mos I think and it was GORGEOUS! Don't worry at all!

they won't rush on your dress - they just fillorders based on wedding date - so if you order really early it will take longer to get your dress - they will try to get you your dress 3 monthes ahead of time

My friend is getting married 2nd week of May and she has yet to hear from the dress place!! I heard some vendors tell me they've seen the dress come the week before the wedding!!!

11 months! They handmake every dress. She is such a reputable designer - they would never rush. You'll be fine

I ordered mine in Jan and they said it won't come in til Oct. They will not do a rush job. they stand behind their work. her dresses are so nice. Good luck!

Now I'm stressing cause the measurement process was sooo fast. My dress is hollow to hem so it CAN'T be shortened!!!
It seemed the dress was on too low and then when I'll get it and pull it up, it will be too short.
I feel like it won't be right and I won't have it for another 10 mths!!!!
I think I am just DRIVING myself crazy with ANYTHING!!! I need to just relax!!!

I had to wait 9 months, I know how it feels to wait and wait. I would forget what the dress looked like and become paranoid that they ordered the wrong dress. It will all be fine! Well worth the wait!

I was told this was the longest wait in dresses and mine came in three months. Good luck!

Stop stressing girl. Your dress will be fine. The people that measured you do this for a living. They know what they are doing. When I got measured for my hollow to hem it took her literally like 2 secs to do it. It is never exact anyway. There is a margain of error with the measurement and with the custom hem. They know this, they are professionals. Take a breather, have a drink!!

where did u guys get your dresses?? can you post pics???i am sooo worried that my dress will lose its special detail because they are going to have to take it in so much!!! what do you guys think about this??? do they take it in on the sides??? i have no clue about alterations, i bought it at kleinfeld's and I hear they are great w/ alterations though. I felt really pressured to order the 'larger' size, when I knew i would be losing a substantial amount of weight. I feel like i am going to be stressed for the next 6 months until it comes in!!!!

That's how I FEEL?!??!
BUT what are we going to do? Let's try not to worry and just be happy that we atleast found our dress!!
