Even though People Dont Like me!

Hey, its me, jes, or 'lolita', well you know how when youve been drinking your true feelings come out? well tonight was the GTG and i had to mis it and me and my FH went out. All i could think about was the GTG. anyway, i know (and he knows) that not everyone likes me..... well, i can understand that i guess... but i really just wanted to say that MOST people have REALLY made me feel welcome here and i really am thankful. As you may know, i am not able to have a big wedding like most of you and i am having a vegas wedding. and i really do not have anyone i can talk to about this. it is the most exciting experience in my life and i can not share it with anyone.
EXCEPT you girls!!!! like i said, i know not everyone liukes me, but those who actually DO, i just wanted to sat thank you and give you a big . I have really kind of had it hard planning this thing, and you girls are the best. i knew i couldve gone to the GTG late, but i am afraid no one will want me there, so i hope people who actually dont have a problem with me will be at the DOG GTG I am planning (oct 16th 11am, wasington square park) I LOVE you ALL!!!!!!

It made me sad to see that you feel people don't like you... I have read some of your posts in the past few weeks and you seem like a terrific person to me...by the way, the Las Vegas wedding your planning sounds exciting (much more private and intimate). Awww! You're the sweetest. Yeah, well i dont know, ive been involved in some drama.... i admit it, so alot of ppl dont really care for me... BUT the people that i have been involved in the drama with i have tried to make peace with (ex. june262004, mrs-k-june......) i love everyone but i have always knida felt like unwanted one! (not just here) and i hope ppl dont think im writing this for sympothy.... i just really want to thank everyone for letting me share my upcoming wedding with them... and them for sharing theirs with me.!!!! today is oct 1st .... so my wedding is exactly 5 months from today!!!!! (march 1st) and i CANT wait~! i cant talk to my family or my fhs family about it.... only you girls,. so thank you , i love you all for hearing me out!

Now it is Oct 2nd. Do you know what that means? If you caount like I do, your wedding is only 4 months away!!!! Do the math!

Yesterday was 5 months, so today is less than 5 months. Less than 5 months is four months! MARCH IS FOUR MONTHS AWAY!!!

I think your Vegas wedding sounds cool. I respect your decision and your budget. You should be every bit as excited as the rest of us. We are all doing things slightly different from one another and that is what makes these boards great.

I don't know what drama you are referring to and I often don't remember who says what. We have all said things that may be taken wrong from time to time. It is difficult to detect tone in an email, especially when you don't really know the person.

So, have fun, happy planning and know that you have friends here.

BTW, I'm guessing that if you had gone to the GTG you would have been greeted with open arms. I went to a GTG when I only had around 30 posts and the girls couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming.

JLP, i like your thinking! 4 months away! lol and youre very sweet, i am happy to hear you had a great GTG experience. i did not go because i worked late and then like i said, not everyone likes me so i dint go late.... but thank you and you made me feel a bit better! talk to you later!

You can't please everyone and shouldn't have to try. As long as you are pleased with yourself nothing else should matter.... How exciting that you have 5 mos. left. Vegas will be sooo awesome and if you have any questions about it and getting married there I can help you out. I'm sorry that you can't talk to your family about the wedding but you can always talk to me and the other LIW gals or gents. Vegas ROCKS!!!!

I give you alot of credit. Don't harp on stuff that happened in the past. Just keep looking forward to March. A Vegas wedding is very cool, romantic and different and you should be proud of yoursefl for making it happen. I'm sorry you can't share this with your family but as long as you have FH (and us) that will get you through it. Good luck.

Oh that made me so sad to read! I'm sure you are a wonderful and I am jealous of your Vegas wedding cause I love Vegas! You sound like a wonderful person and if someone doesn't like you it's their loss!

Don't feel bad. I have involved in drama in the past, and honestly don't feel welcome at the GTG. We can have our own gtg.

I think you are so sweet!!!!! I like you, and the 'drama' that goes on on this site from time to time is so sensless so don't even pay any attention that people that cause the drama and don't like you. Their are so many girls on here and if a few don't like you so what!!!

This board always has drama. Yes I have heard about some of the post you were involved in such as calling people fat etc.
I think as long as an apology is made..just move on. Thats life.
I have been involved in drama but usually its because people take the post wrong and words get twisted. Many of us are close and relish in each other's days. We are here for support and not to break each other down..as long as those are your motives..you will always be welcomed.

I agree with myasmom - I think its fine once you apologize for calling a bride fat, or for posting on the TTC board that the best way to get pregnant is to get drunk (or something along those lines), or for one of the many other posts you were involved in that were pulled - but it seems you keep making the same offending remarks, then posting these 'everyone hates me threads'. Everyone makes mistakes. I did - but I deleted it, apologized and moved on.

Personally I think a number of your posts were extremely rude to other brides. I was in your corner the first time you posted one of these 'everyone hates me threads' especially when I saw that some of the nicest people on the boards clearly didn't care for you. But lost me once I saw some of the hurtful things you said to others. IMO - it is strange that you keep completely disregarding other people's feelings, and then posting these threads for reassurance of your own. IMO! - It seems you are trying to get something from LIW that you are missing some where else - I wish you the best with planning your wedding, and will be glad to help when I can - but I sincerely hope that you will try to think about what you do to other people's feelings... Because judging by the number of your 'everyone hates me' threads you are hurt just as easily. ....
