not that im engaged anymore, but one girl that i had asked to be a bridesmaid .... well... we had a MAJOR falling out in new orleans, and we basically hate each other now... we were very very close, and now we dont even talk a little bit... so i can imagine how regretting your decision would feel.

No, because I haven't. I've only asked my cousin to be my MOH. FH hasn't asked anyone yet, either.

I don't regret asking anyone. But the thing is... our friends (married couple) who we asked to be in our BP... well... they are a bit unreliable, cancel plans at last minute, etc. So I am not going to be surprised if months from now they back out. I hope that's NOT the case, but we'll see.

They're the only friends in the BP. Everyone else is family.

I haven't asked anyone yet for just this reason. I knew a lot could change in two years.

YES YES YES YES...I'm actually re-thinking the decision of having any of them in the wedding. I'm thinking leaving my MOH (sis) and best man (FH's best friend since kindergarten) and un-asking everyone else...oh well

Thats why I'm only having family in my wedding party...my 2 sisters and my 2 FSIL's

Re: Ever ask yourself...

So far, the only thing I wish I did differently was give my one friend more information when I asked her, She said she couldn't do it because she's really strapped for cash and time. When she said it I didn't think much about it because I was so upset that she wasn't going to be a part of the BP. Afterwards I realized that the BP she is currently the MOH in is very different than mine. She is expected to help with the shower and etc. Most of my BP isn't even in state, so I don't expect them to be around much, I just want them up there with me on my big day. I almost wish I had enough $$ to pay for her dress... but I think she'd feel funny with me doing that. I guess since everyone is so far away, I don't have much interaction with them, therefore there isn't even room for drama.
