no one cares about your wedding but you?....i just saw some of my cousins...and they were talking about their vacations and other peoples weddings....and they didn't ask about mine nor has anyone mentioned about my shower or anything or bach. party just about their vacation plans around that time...(and i don't they can make it to mine)....kind of sad...
i can only talk about wedding stuff with you girls and FI!
same here..... Something I think people are a lil jealous and wrapped up in their own thing. Think about it you are about to change your life forever and gain so much. All that matters is that you and FH are there on ur wedding day

Oh yea. I have friends that I've known for 20 years and they still haven't called or even sent a card. They sent an email, which to me is very cold. (the friendship went downhill before hand).. Its seems like no one really gives a sh!t! I was so excited for all my friends when they got married, now for me, they could care less. On well, its no big whoop.

Big time. My parents refused to talk about it for a while. All they talked about was them doing their bathroom. Now they are a bit getting into it as the year mark approaches. My sister in law is very into it but thats about it.
I only got five cards for two sides of a family over the wedding. I am wondering when i send out the std's if that will help because maybe no one really knows since we didn't do formal e announcements. I hope so otherwise this is really sad.

YEP, i so totally went thru that before my wedding and after when i had my proofs and NOW that i have my video and Dh's side just seems SO uninteresterd. . . . just ignore them! they're jelous!

O yea definately feel like it. Sometimes it makes me feel like I'm doing all this work planning and making sure everything is perfect and no one even cares. What angers me the most is that FHs parents seem to care the absolute least... never ask about the planning and usually if we bring it up, his mom changes the subject! Sometimes I think they don't even wanna come and that makes me mad because the only reason we are getting married in Austria instead of the US is because I know his parents don't like flying far! Grr.
Sorry for the vent, but you are not alone! And thats why we have sites like this!

I understand that this wedding is not a priority for everyone. I don't talk about my wedding alot but when I do I feel as if some people try to change the subject. It's just annoying when I'm trying to share or get an opinion, people only want to talk about themselves and the flavor of the week.
