Where you have almost no money on you and forgot your ATM card or something (mine's currently not working, but that's a long story) and you're trying to scrounge enough money together to get something to eat???
Right now I have about 76p to my name (English equivalent to cents) and I need about 10p more to get myself a buttered bagel so that I can make it through tonight's show and I've just stolen it from a penny jar that's in one of the common drawers that no one ever seems to claim...
I'm such a loser!!!!!!!

I remember having a few moments like that. And I remember the humiliation of not realizing until I went to pay for something.

You should have pan-handled. With a newsboy hat you would have made an adorable street urchin or gamine. You could have made some serious money.

I did consider that, however, our location being right outside of Waterloo station, there aren't many spare corners

check your car- i always have money in my car - in the seat, on the floor maybe borrow from someone?
btw i love the sandwiches at marks and spencer- do you go there? however probably 78p is not enough for much there.

Can you borrow from anyone. That is usually what i do and pay them back the next day.

I've done that, and scavenged thru my purse and car for loose change to eat a vending meal lunch...grrrrrr....it makes you feel yucky....don't worry, you'll remember for the next few weeks...
