Ever Second Guess your Wedding Dress.

Ok, I bought my wedding dress back in May. Now I'm thinking maybe it's not the one. I'm worried it's a little to full in the skirt and it might look stupid? Has this happened to anyone. Do you all think it's to poofy? I've already invested lots of $$$!?!?

I think your dress is absolutly gorgeous. Your going to look like a beautiful princess in it. I love my dress, but I'll admit I'm very nervous about it. The one in the store was a goldish color, but I ordered it in white. So technically, I don't really know what my dress is going to look like!

Did your dress come in yet? When you try it on again, your going to fall in love with it all over again.

That dress is stunning! And the details will just highlight the beautiful bridal shape. Second guessing is natural with any major purchase...let it go, you will be a beuatiful bride!

That's a great dress.
If you feel the skirt is too full you can always ask them to take out a layer of crinoline.

I did not second guess my dress. I fell in love with it after looking a lot, then looked more and kept coming back to that dress.
I think the other trick is that I didn't not look at any more dresses once I bought mine.

I did - Then I went back and tried it on again.
Turns out it wasn't as 'big' as it was in my head !!
Rule #1 STOP looking once you buy !!!

It hasn't come in yet, they told me AC takes about a year!!!! I do like it I was just afraid it was too bulky and I'd look like an 80's bride!

ohmy how can you second guess an eva f milady dress .. her gowns are greatttt. im actually loking into a few of her dresses but im not getting married untill march of 06 so i have time

I did--I thought my first was too poofy so I am on dress #2! Take pics of yourself in it--I felt so fat in the big poofy bottom that it changed my mind!

I think your dress is gorgeous. When else are you going to get to wear a ballgown and look like a princess?? I am actually afraid that my dress isn't puffy enough.

I second guessed mine after leaving the store. I had my heart set on the first dress pictured. After my Mom, sister and sales lady said the second one looked like it was made for me. I still loved the first one, however was worried about the straps. So went with the second one pictured. My Mom and sister both cried when I put on the first one, so it wasn't like they didn't love it. I know they would never lead me in the wrong direction. It's funny after seeing pictures of my dress, I thought it looked straight, so I'm putting a slip under mine. I'm sure your dress will look prefect. If you feel it is to puffy, don't wear a slip. problem solved

Laura 1976, did you order a Mon Cheri dress? Mine comes in ivory/spun gold, that's why I ask.

As for the poufiness.....I was a little apprehensive too, but then again, it is your WEDDING DAY, no other day to wear the pouffs. That's what made me agree. And you can tone down your slip to make it less full too. The dress is gorgeous, if it's the one you can't stop thinking about, that's it. Take it from me, I can't even decide what to order in a restaurant!

I think it's a beautiful dress, but if you are second guessing it, then maybe you should change it. YOu should be absolutly positive about your dress and so in love with it.
