Ever wish...

Ever wish that you didn't have to wait so long to get married? All I keep thinking is that even after 2006 is over, we still have to wait a whole year to even come close! I know we need the extra time but I just don't know how much longer I can wait!!

i definitely felt like that when i first got engaged and i had two years to go - but now i am getting closer to my one year mark and i have so much stuff to look forward to. . .i want to just enjoy this time!

i am looking forward to a trip to Italy, the holidays (twice!), and two weddings ( One of them is my BFF - almost as excited for hers as i am for my own LOL), my god daughter's communion - all before my own wedding!!!!

just try to enjoy it because when you reach the wedding you will be shocked at how quickly time went by!!!!

I think about it everyday ..the thing that bothers me most is that we only did it because his brother got enaged first and they got mad when we booked our wedding before theirs so we rebooked to 08

Someone always has a comment about how long away it is ...I just wish it was 07 ...but in a way it's nice ...everything for our weddings is gonna be perfect since we have so much time to think about it !

I definately thought i would be getting married in 2007...hence my screen name...should i change it????

We need the extra time, we just bought a house and we are redoing the whole entire thing(its fine the way it is in my book) but that is what FH wants to do. So i think we would like to have our house finished for the wedding, in case we want to do a brunch the next day or host any guests at our place. I would also like to get ready at my house too, cause i dont have many choices and that way it will be decorated the way i want it.

I think the time is going to fly by, and my only concern is wrinkles...lol i will be just about 28

Yea I definitely feel that way sometimes. I mean I remember when my count was just under 800 and now I'm down to 556 days to go but it's still so far away!

At the same time I know once it's over I'm going to miss it terribly so I keep telling myself to just enjoy the moment and the time because I'll never have another chance to be the 'bride-to-be!'

yes...if it were up to me id be married yesterday!

BUT then i look in my wallet and ::sigh:::

need some more pennies

but at least u are may!

im november 08...thats likeover 2 years...
its all good tho...im the last wedding out of the 10 we have to attend...so i think we are okay with waiting...

Enjoy this time! Your wedding will be her before you know it. The time really does fly bye!

That is how i think of it. It does seem so far away, but it is a great opportunity to make sure everything is exactly how we want it to be.

But i'm sure that when 2008 comes around, we are all going to be talking about how fast this all went. We will be saying that we felt like it was just yesterday that we were all posting, 'Hi, i'm a newbie'

I would like it to be sooner, so we can get married. However I just think of EVERYTHING i already have going on next year and how fast time is going to fly!!!!

I'm going to try my hardest not to procrastinate, and we will spend the next two years just enjoying each other. And living in the I'm engaged world,b ecause you only get to do it once! (well hopefully, some get more than one try)
