Ever wish you could UN-INVITE some people?

Ever wish you could UN-INVITE some people?

Argh, people are driving me insane... I've had such headaches with these RSVP's... I actually had someone rsvp yes, then call me to say no, then call me again to say yes, then sent me a letter saying they can't come... can you imagine?!

And I still have people telling me they're 'not sure' if they're coming or not... how can you STILL not be sure?!?! You got the invitation months ago... and the rsvp date came and went. How hard is it to figure out if you're free or not that night???

Then I had people tell me they'd 'try to stop by'... well that's not an answer... AND if you're telling me you're coming, you BETTER make sure you get there cause I'm way too much for your plate for you NOT to show up!!!

Not to mention all the people who haven't rsvp'd AT ALL yet, and don't respond to emails or phone calls (I'm assuming they're NO's but who knows?)...

It's like, if you're not coming to my wedding, just TELL ME so I dont' have to wonder about it... I won't be mad you're not coming, I'm more angry when people don't respond at all!!!!!!!

Okay vent over sorry to sound like a basket case!!!!!! But I knew you girls would understand!!!!

I'll try to stop by??!?!?!?!? This isn't a birthday party at someone's house!!!

I am NOT looking forward to the RSVP part of the wedding planning!

I had something happen like that with my bridal shower. I called those people and just told them that I would love for them to be there, and I understand if they can't make it, but that we need a definite answer so we can plan the seating.

I hope this helps. I don't think people understand that this causes problems for you when they are hazy like this!

I hope it works out for you.

People are beyond ridiculous... I feel your frustration.

There is a couple that I invited because I felt I 'had' to ...it kind of annoys me since last time I saw them they barely spoke to us and never once congratulated us!! Anytime I see them they could care less to talk. I was so stupid to invite them. But now I'm kinda glad- they said yes, which means we will just make our minimum! We're one person away from it...and that was my goal- to make the minimum and not go over it! WOOHOO!

I know just what you mean, I just said that to FH 2 days ago.
I invited someone only because she kept asking and insisting, mind you she was on my B list, actually she was the only 1 on the b list, lol. I felt bad and almost obligated to and now she's being all pissy because my bachelorette party is the same day as her daughters bday. I bet ya she won't even come now after she already rsvp'd. That's one invite I wish I could take back.

That is ridiculous!!! 'I'll try and stop by' Oh no you wont!!! I would force their hands. I would say I need a definite yes/no right now. If you can't give me a definite yes, then it has to be a no. period. I would say it nicer than that but you get the idea. People are too much.

Wow, are these the sample people who were invited to my wedding? We never received a verbal congrats on our engagement from them either.

OMG - I keep getting the same thing from one of FH's friends. Meanwhile we are going to his wedding in September and he sent out the invites in April and had an RSVP date of May 1. At this point, it is two weeks away you know if you can come or not. It;s especially frustrating with them because they are planning a wedding too so they must know how annoying late responders are.

Send this!!

'You were counted very special
To be one of our invited guests
To witness our happy nuptials
Your presence we did request
But your demand that we invite persons
Whom we don't even know
Has caused us to reconsider
The invitation we did bestow
We're sorry to have to tell you
The stressful fire you've ignited
Did result in one conclusion
YOU ARE UN-INVITED!'
