Argh, people are driving me insane... I've had such headaches with these RSVP's... I actually had someone rsvp yes, then call me to say no, then call me again to say yes, then sent me a letter saying they can't come... can you imagine?!
And I still have people telling me they're 'not sure' if they're coming or not... how can you STILL not be sure?!?! You got the invitation months ago... and the rsvp date came and went. How hard is it to figure out if you're free or not that night???
Then I had people tell me they'd 'try to stop by'... well that's not an answer... AND if you're telling me you're coming, you BETTER make sure you get there cause I'm way too much for your plate for you NOT to show up!!!
Not to mention all the people who haven't rsvp'd AT ALL yet, and don't respond to emails or phone calls (I'm assuming they're NO's but who knows?)...
It's like, if you're not coming to my wedding, just TELL ME so I dont' have to wonder about it... I won't be mad you're not coming, I'm more angry when people don't respond at all!!!!!!!
Okay vent over sorry to sound like a basket case!!!!!! But I knew you girls would understand!!!!

Re: Ever wish you could UN-INVITE some people?
I feel your pain.
Today is our last day for RSVPs. We're missing almost 40 -- as in 40 cards, which equals EIGHTY PEOPLE!
People are so f-ing rude it's unreal.

Send this!!
'You were counted very special To be one of our invited guests To witness our happy nuptials Your presence we did request But your demand that we invite persons Whom we don't even know Has caused us to reconsider The invitation we did bestow We're sorry to have to tell you The stressful fire you've ignited Did result in one conclusion YOU ARE UN-INVITED!'

I know what you mean. I don't understand how some people can not respond at all, even when you've called and left messages. How rude! I didn't have any 'I'll try to stop by'--but then, I had a small wedding. And no one would dare do that one with me, I'd bite their effin head off. It's a wedding, not a keg party! You get dressed up and you come, or you say 'no' and send a small gift.
You have my sympathies!

I actually did un-invite people...they will survive
NO WAY!!! Really?! how'd you do it (just curious!)?
I called up and was very apologetic if you need to throw a few tears in there and say that you are SO SO SO sorry to do this, but money is so tight and you just realized there were people you forget to send invites to and you are over your limit and your 'family' is insisting that you cut.
It was pretty easy for us b/c the ones we uninvited were traveling from out of state so I didnt have to worry about them hunting me down

And really if they RSVP no and call you and say yes...say ok...if they call again and change their answer tell them you are sorry you already gave the final count and just cant change it.

Don't let these a$$holes stress you out. I wonder who these people are, unless your having a super casual backyard BBQ, stopping by is not an option! If I were you I would take off the 'nice' cap and spend some time making some calls. Explain to people you need to give your hall a final head count and need a def. answer. Good Luck, oh and BTW, I did uninvite someone. I got caught up in all the hoopla and sent an STD and regretted it the second I did. I explained I was over max and would have to move her to the B-list. I actually moved thi person to the C-list!

It never ends! I had someone not send an RSVP, tell me they arent coming, and then 6 days before my wedding when everything is finalized, my uncle said he talked to him the other day and said he is coming! What is wrong with people!!!????
