I met FH through my friend who met her husband through another friend of ours. So I feel like it definitly was meant to be.

we met online,, yes online If i was not on a site i was on- we never would have met. he was on Jdate and not i but he could see my profile on the site i was on. i did not know that he could not IM me though so i kept seeing him viewing my profile and then finally I IM'ds him and said- are you going to talk to me or what then he told me he could not IM me but could respond to mine and then we started talking and rest history

I often think this too! If I had chosen to go to Cortland for college instead of Towson in Maryland, I never would have worked for the Baltimore Orioles, which is where I met FH!

FH and I talk about this all the time. We are junior high sweethearts...we say what if our parents bought a house in a different town.....

mine goes waaaay back. My parents lost our house.. so we had to move..if i didnt move i wouldve never went to a different high school, if i didnt go to that high school i would have never began talking to a long lost cousin who happened to go to the same school i was going to, if i didnt talk to that cousin i would have never went to the halloween party he was hosting where i met FH. So from all that bad i went through-i got the most awesome thing ever out of it...a hubby!

I think about this all of the time. I was dating another guy for 2+ years at the time. I figured ex and I would eventually get married - not that we were good together or that I thought he was 'the one' - I just figured it had been a while and it was probably in our future. We were all part of a large group of friends that all paired up, the rest of them were getting married, so why not us. After meeting FH I didn't end things with ex right away, but I thought about it all of the time. There was so much of me who thought - there is no way I am starting something so soon after ending things with someone else - and not to mention the long distance thing! But it just seemed right... even with so much against us

i probally would have never grown up..and i'd still be hanging out in parking lots smoking ****and chillin w/ frineds!

I would of ended up marrying my ex but, I knew we were going to meet.

I was JUST talkin about this with FH... he would not even have been born if it werent for some sorta screw-up on his parents part but thank god he was... I wouldnt know what to do without him!!!!

ALSOOOO... We just happened to be online at the same time and he left the name of his old neighborhood (which is mine) in his profile so i searched for it... and up popped his name and the rest is history... He always says, 'damn, if only i wasnt online that day!!!'

So weird, FH asked me yesterday where I thought I would be if we never met! I would probably still be a teacher but I might be living in a different state as my Mom moved 3 years ago to California and I might have went with her.

I actually met him @ my last job which i hated..i worked with his mom & she introduced us :: i know i know :: ..me & his mom were such good friends and now...welllllll ... I'm soooo glad I met my FH

My parents almost bought a house in Woodbury before I was born. I would have went to Syosset HIgh School if we lived in Woodbury. But, luckily they moved to Hicksville and I met FH in high school back in 97.

FH only started working at the same place I do bc of his mom... so I'll always have her to thank for making him apply there!

Also one of our mutual friends 'knew' we were meant to be together and kind of acted as a mediator to set us up, so if she hadn't worked there too it might not have happened.

SO WEIRD BUT TRUE I probably would not be with FH if he didnt start joking with me after our initial meeting ihtought he was an arrogant a s s. BOY I WAS WRONG! lol lol lol
