I picked out these. The dinner plate is $22 for one...is that okay?
What do you think? I love them!

It depends how many full sets you want. 22$ for one plate is pretty pricey! They are very nice.

Just think about this - they are your everyday dinnerware... be prepared to break/chip some. Will you be really upset if you have to replace a $22 plate? If not, then go for it!

Kohls had really cute plates, and now they carry food network brand items too. I'm obsessed w/it.

I agree with that, you have to have back ups! Our everyday dishes were purchased from macys and we bought 2 of everything as a back up just in case something chips. it happens. each place setting was 30$ but many of the sets purchased for us at our enagagement party were 2 for 1.

are those the Espana?? I had first picked them out. the EMPIRE
Mine costs $79.99 for a 4-piece setting from BBB. I know that they chip/crack from everyday use so I went cheap so that I wouldn't be upset. Here they are:

Yes they are espana from Macy's. I like fresh table settings every so often. Although it was hard to part with my cobalt/terracotta rimmed dansk dishes I have had for 10 years! They now have a good home with my MOH!
has anyone ever heard of scan pans? My friend has a set and I mentioned them to my emloyer, so he bought a set as well as a set for FH and I last christmas. ladies, these pans are teflon through and through and indestructable. I love them!

Re: Everyday dinnerware....
mine were like $7 each dinner plate, and I thought that was expensive!! But we love them, so we went with it. My overly generous parents bought us practically the whole set as an engagement gift! We got a mixture of the patterns and the solids.
i will post them here because they are so darn pretty

my everyday dinnerware was $60 for a 16 piece set. $22 for a plate is alot.
