Re: Everyday plates
For my everyday plates I bought part of (and registered for the missing items) of the Lenox Accoutrements Sweetbriar Rose plates by Anna Griffin. They're a pretty feminine though so I'm not sure they'll be up your FH's alley. My FH didn't mind them b/c I loved them so much, and I left our formal china pattern up to him.

Re: Everyday plates
Ours are plain white and Martha Stuart. Then I can add peices from anybody at any time and it will all match. I just think it looks clean and I can add color with table clothes etc.

Re: Everyday plates
We also did by Martha Stuart... since we have a 4 year old, we didn't our everyday plates to be too fancy since he tends to accidentally drop/chip/scratch anything that's breakable of mine. This way if one gets messed up, who cares

I got the Mikasa 45 piece set. I just love the design b/c it's simple, yet still elegant and classy. I would look for Martha Stewart designs, I love everything that woman does. :X

My every day plates are Fiestaware - I chose place settings and serving pieces in different colors. We have a really colorful table when guests come over!

we did the Pottery Barn White. Goes with everything, and is just very simple. It wont go out of style. And I love the lines of it!
