It took me an hour and 45 minutes to drive home from work. There were accidents everywhere. Is everyone ok?????

I know. It took me an hour and I live 15 miles away from where I work. I saw some poor guy skid and hit a pole and totally wrecked his brand new Rav 4. I hope everyone arrived safe and sound!

I've been home since 3:15 but have to go out again in a few. I wouldn't if I didn't have to but fh's brother's girl friend's grandfather died so we have to go to the wake. I'm waiting for FH to get here...he left Stamford about an hour ago! (Coming to Westchester)

I wish I was a cop, I would have given out so many tickets to some drivers tonight. Just b/c its snowing doesn't mean you can coast thru red lights in traffic or GO ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD TO GO THRU THE LIGHT--YES A SCHOOL BUS DID THIS!!!! ..
I was boiling by the time I got home..

i left queens at 300 and got home 415 only about 15-20 min more than usual. the main roads/pkwys were fine (but there were some accidents)
the side streets were bad though - i was going sooo slow and i was still sliding when breaking

it took me over an hour to go from oceanside to levittown when i got to wantagh parkway there were 2 abandoned and completely mangled cars in 2 different places in the trees - seriously scary!!!

I went with FH to the DR and on the way home a guy going in the opposite direction did a 180 on to our side of the road and only missed hitting us because FH pressed on the gas. It was so scary. I hate driving in this stuff.

My boss called and told me to leave at 4:50 (she left to pick up her kids early), and I got home at 6:20....I live 14 miles away from where I work....and I saw so many accidents!!

It took my FH 2 hours to get home (works in Bladwin; lives in Farmingville). He said it wasn't good out there and he saw a few accients on his way home.
I had a better time of it because I live in Queens and just took the subway...the streets were a little slippery but I was careful.
