I leave my hair curly, and I love it that way. I don't know anything about the new perms, but i'm a big proponent of curly hair!

im told that the 'new' perms are not what you think when you thionk of perm that 80s poodle do. im just a little afraid though im wondering if i should just go for it

I'll trade you my curly hair for your straight hair anyday! I'm so sick of my curls. I would love to do the japanese straightening but I just can't justify spending over $500 on my hair right now. It's funny how we always want what we don't have!

Me too. Too nervous to do the JS.
JS is great- and you can get it for way less then $500- I have heard as low as $150 from Asain salons in NY
I just got it done this weekend- 10 minutes to dry my hair pin straight! I paided $350

my sister has curly hair and has always wanted staright hair lol it is true though we do want what we cant have

I love my naturally curly hair!!! I would much rather have my curls. I can easily straighten if I want or I can just let it go au natural!!
I have curly/wavy hair and I'm happy with it. Because if I want it straight I can use a flat iron or something. Whereas some women with straight hair can't really get thier hair to hold a curl without a perm or something. So I am one of the few women who is happy with her hair. Now my body is a different story. LOL
