everyone says don't worry about the forecast(updated)

(I wrote this 3 days ago..so obviously it all has changed)
But I can't help it. I am obsessed. Our whole thing is completely outdoors, with a tent. And the bonfire outside.
There is now a t-storm predicted.
(not anymore, at least for now)
Ahhhhh
I know it will change several times.
Last summer was pretty every weekend after the 4th.

Plan B Rainy Day everyone in tent having a great time

Just make sure your hair and makeup is weather proof and you look gorgeous, and no one will notice...

(at last thats what they keep telling me)

My wedding is the same all outdoors, tents, mass confusion on my part....

I don't know if this makes you feel better but the sound of rain tapping on a tent is so romantic.

I hear ya....I was obsessed with the weather from the first day I could check it. It changed a million times, and even that day was different than what they predicted that morning. Nothing you can really do about it.

ys....Groom loves the sound of rain.
So that's a plus.
I just hope it's not super muggy.
If a quick t storm brings a nice cold front I'll deal.
Well, I guess I'm gonna deal no matter what.

hang in there...i had the same thing a week before...a few days before...woke up to a gorgeous day...although it was foggy on the water...plus out east we can have no rain when most of LI is getting wet! (and i had a total outdoor wedding) for a beautiful day!

Mine's July 26th next year.... so I hope there is no rain this for you or next year for me

I don't know if it makes you feel better but according to the weather channel it hasn't rained on July 26th in over 4 years.... I hope the trend lasts

Dont worry- during the summer the weathermen predict rain EVERY single day. And as you said, it will change before then. Try to think about more important wedding things- like you can control! No matter what your wedding will be amazing.

hi there :) i was super obsessed about the weather forecast too but then i realized i was just driving myself crazy over something i totally couldn't control! our day said it was going to rain up until like 2 days before and we ended up having such a clear, sunny day! plus, no matter what, your guests will have fun and you will be so happy to be getting married the weather won't even matter! and, if it makes you feel any better, our videographer told us he actually likes when it rains b/c it makes for very dramatic video! :) :) you will have a beautiful day! no worries!

I know its hard to not think about it...
BUT for my day they predicted rain, thunderstorms, lightning, flash floods...etc. etc. etc.

This did NOT change until 2 am that morning! The thought was horrible-BUT its the one thing that you do not have control over-stress about the things you can control

they predicted SNOW for my wedding ... in early november

what will be, will be ...

as long as you have a plan B, that's all you can really do!

Oh you don't know how glued I was to the forecast days before my wedding. I just gave up when i saw rain for the big day and I was so unhappy the morning of when it was misting out but lo and behold by 10AM it was bright and sunny out. Beautiful the rest of the day. My day was supposed to be 70% chance of rain and I was going to accept it. So don't keep looking you are going to drive yourself crazy. Your day will be beautiful no matter what the weather is.

my day is this thursday. Last week is was twenty percent chance of precip and suupposed to rain Mon and Tues. Now, it obviously isnt raining yet and we have 50 percent chance of rain for the rehearsal dinner ( outside) and 70 percent on Thur, outside ceremony on the water and a dove release. All my favors are doves....if we don't do doves people will think i'm some wacky dove obsessed person.

In any case, I'm def starting to panic too but what can we do??

For Saturday they are now saying sunny...

We have outdoor rehearsal on Saturday and outdoor ceremony and cocktails on Sunday. 40% chance of rain with t-storms.

FH thinks it's hilarious. Don't worry, we'll both be ok!
