everyone says don't worry about the forecast(updated)

Original post by Newsysuzy12

(I wrote this 3 days ago..so obviously it all has changed)
But I can't help it. I am obsessed. Our whole thing is completely outdoors, with a tent. And the bonfire outside.
There is now a t-storm predicted.
(not anymore, at least for now)
Ahhhhh
I know it will change several times.
Last summer was pretty every weekend after the 4th.

OK I have been staying away from the weather but now I know about the storm because of you...now do I worry or curse you to death (LOL). I am sure FH's sister would love to tell me that it is supposed to rain.

My cocktail hour and Viennes is outside...just great. I am going to check it out now.

Should I be sad????????????????? I am so relaxed but now I am a bit confused..or well I dont know how to explain this feeling that I have.

i picked july as my month because it's the time when there is the least statistical chance of rain for the wedding.

from one obsessive bride to another, have a back-up and hope for sunshine

No need to get upset because it changes and you can't control it.

They predicted everything from a snow storm to rain on our wedding day. We had a great day, especially for December! It was around 58 degrees!!! No snow or rain!

Try not to worry about it the best you can.

Two of our good friends are getting married on the 26th so we are praying for good weather!

Don't get upset over it.

You can't predict the weather and neither can you control it--by obessessing over it, you'll make yourself go crazy.

Plan on having a good time either way and your guests will too if they see that you are unfazed by the unpredictability of the weather.

I have been obsessing over the weather as well, BUT I checked 5 different websites with 5 different results so apparently they don't know what they're doing. Lately they've barely been predicting the weather for the day of so to predict it days ahead is too much to ask for....I want to say don;t stress, but then I'd have to start with myself standing in front of a mirror....my friends all promised to have it taken care of.

They heard as a joke somewhere that if you tap silverware outside the window it'll stop raining....so they all promised to be standing with forks and knives on standby. We got it covered.

Cant sleep. : One day to go.....and now we're up to seventy percent chance of rain. When they say scattered thunderstorms.....I wonder if it will hold out for the two hours I need it to or not....but doubt my hall will take that chance and set up outside. I really wish I had thought of this when we booked but it never rains in July! We booked mainly for the outdoor views and outdoor cocktail hour. Plus I was supposed to release doves over the sound as part of my ceremony and doves are my theme, they are all over the place inside the hall. If we don't release, People are going to think I'm some weird dove obsessedchick ...LOL

Getting married inside my hall, in the reception room is def not as glamorous as getting married on a cliff overlooking the long island sound, I am so upset.....but I guess the point of the day ( marrying the love of my life) can not get lost no matter what happens~

OK so we are down to three days. I think I may refuse to look at the weather forecast until Saturday. We do have to choose between having our cocktail and viennes our inside or outside but that is chosen two hours before.

Last year on July 26 FH and I were in my parents pool saying that the weather was beautiful. It was 82 degrees with a breeze...I am hopin gfor that day to come again in three days.

30 percent for where our church is
60 percent where our wedding hall is

they are an hour away from each other.
