My fh husband being a die hard yankee fan, and him being related to the great yankee captain Thurman Munson(cousins). If you listen to Mike and the Mad dog today the federal government said that Barry Bond' s trainer said that he administered them to Bonds, and doesn't know if Giambi and Sheffield used them.(which i'm sured they did). Buy the way on that comment of Jeter being gay- My cousin was the arresting officer when Piazza beat up the gay weather man Storm Fields. Storm Fields answered the door to his apartment with underwear on and a piazza jersey on, and sporting a nice black eye.Piazza was arrested with just underwear on. But the Mets did a good job of hiding that scandal.![]()
P.S. Whats your great first baseman Mo doing? He was worth the money. What a waste.....

OK I was going to refrain from posting on a thread that began with 'Evil Cheatin' Yankees..' Because the high-class Yankee fans usually take the HIGH ROAD and wouldn't bothering lowering ourselves to name calling
Now speaking of unproven drug use .. lets not point any fingers until it is proven that Giambi used steroids. Did we test every Mets player on the team, hmm? And why don't we recall the Mets incident, those who were sitting in the clubhouse smoking some weed, oh, last year or the year before? Yes I understand it was an unsubstantiated 'rumor' but it would explain their lack of ability & energy on the playing field.![]()

I don't like the way Mets fans put Yankee fans down, just because we root for a team that happens to be winning Right Now. The Mets will have their time again, be patient.

When I was a 5 years old my Dad took me to my first yankee game. I remember how excited I was to be there and how he was excited he was to have me there. I will never forget that day.
Ever since then the yankees have been my team and first that was because of my dad and later it was beacuse I loved them
Every die hard fan of any sports team has a story of how they got turned on to their favorite team. It could have happened when they were small or just recently, but what ever it was, maybe a player or a moment it got them to the love thegame and that team and that is what it is all about.
So no matter if you love the mets or yankees or even boston at least your a baseball fan and at least you have passion for your team.
So even though some of us may sit on opposite sides of the fence on who is better in New York lets face it we all love baseball and that's what counts![]()
