ewww...Rude ering comment.

Has anyone made a rude comment about your ering? I just saw an acquaintance at work and she called my ring

'cute? But when I get engaged I want somethng bigger'..

I almost knocked her out

i would have been like: well, you are not engaged YET so i wouldn't worry about that right now-- and with an attitude like that, GOOD LUCK finding a man that will marry you!!!!

wow that was so rude. My ex-bf told me it wasn't my style (why she thinks she can dictate my style when I picked it out?) that she thought it would look better and that essentially she thought it was ugly. No we haven't spoken since then (she said some other not nice things about me in general that made me realize I don't need toxic relationships).

People just get jealous. I had a friend who goes 'How big is that ...' then made a guess and undershot the actual size by a lot - and I know she knows a lot about diamonds. She's just the kind of girl that would say that to be a b$tch. Personally, I didn't care too much about size to begin with, but knowing she said that just to tick me off, ticked me off - although I didn't let her know.

I saw someone post about jealousy and they are 100% right-- it's ALL about jealousy, why would you EVER need to knock something someone else has unless someplace deep inside wants that too but doesn't have it? it's really very sad.

so considering that i would have said: no matter how 'small' YOU think that it is-- it's still bigger than your non-existent ring which is why you are making a negative comment'

newsflash to her: there is ALWAYS going to be someone with a BIGGER ring than you-- you'll never be satisfied in life if you think like that! there will always be people out there with MORE than you have also... ughhh jealousy IS the root of ALL evil!!

i call that jealousy! that's what she is! so rude! some said taht to me once. and i thought my ring was a great size. any bigger would put hub and i in the hole! my gal said that's the kinda ring you should get as a birthday gift. i was dumbfounded! i just said to her 'wow.. i dunno how to respond to that.' and walked away from her. 'til this day i'm speechless!

OMG!!! That is EXACLTY what my FSIL said when she saw my ring!!! I wanted to scratch her eyes out!!!!

I forgot to add that I really do like her but she is the last guidette standing and her jewlery taste is waaayyy over the top...anything less than 4 karats is unacceptable. God help her BF!!!

Isn't that putting down her brother??? SOme people just dont think b4 they speak!!!

she's a friend's sister. she's one of thsoe girls who would be w a guy for his money. she found one - good for her but not so sure about him. they're set to get married soon. i saw her ring and yeh.. it's pretty damn big. but holy cow! one shouldn't say that kinda stuff when they're on a high! =P i still love my ring!
