I have this poison ivy-like rash (it's all little bubbles) up and down and in between the fingers on the back of my left hand. It's very itchy and my fingers are swollen - but I haven't been anywhere near any poison ivy
I dont' know what it can be...

I actually get this on my feet and have for years. When it is really bad on my feet, I get it on my hands too - the doctor said it is related, not from touching my feet, but they break out 'in sympathy' with my feet. I know that sounds weird, but that is the term he used. For me, it has been described as sort of an allergic reaction to my own sweat and I get in mainly in the summer months.
I used to use this Lotrimin blend cream that was prescribed, but now you can buy Lotrimin cream over the counter. I have also mixed a blend of Diaper rash cream with an antibacterial cream and that has worked too.

Yep, that is what I get. I used to get really embarrassed by it, but luckily it gets really bad on my feet and I get just a tiny bit on my hands. I almost NEVER wear pantyhose - it accelerates it by about 1000%.
ETA: it is very itchy, so it may be diagnosed as poison ivy. It probably responds well to the same treatment too.

I used to get that a lot. Well mine is like tiny bubbles and then they pop... ouch. I use cortisone. Seems to help.

i get that.. i have eczema. i get it especially by being in contact with water too many times and stuff like that. i sometimes clean a lot and i don't use those platic gloves to protect your hands.. it's just easier but then i'll have to wash my hands after cleaning. my dermo says it's mainly due to that because i haev very sensitive skin - which sux! my doc prescribed HYDROCORTISONE. and it's not harmful to pregnant women (just in case). it's helped a lot! in the meantime, use petroleum jelly and take shorter showers with luke warm water... hope this works for ya. i know the feeling ..

I get that also. My doctor said it was eczema. I can't use any scented lotions or soaps on my hands...especially in the summer months. Stress also makes it worse.

same here with my doc.. he recommends: Aveeno oatmeal bar Dove (unscented) DML lotion or cream moisturel cream neutrogena
