So my shower was last Saturday in NY, yesterday my FH and I drove back to VA with all of our shower gifts. We started unpacking some of the stuff. We my FH was so excited that we got a george forman grill he took it out of the box, and there was grease all over it. We looked at it closer and it was USED!!! How gross is that!! Someone must have returned it to the store used!! Well, I took it back to BBB and told them, and they were soooo nice they exchanged it no problem!! I can't believe someone would do that!!

The EXACT same thing happened when I bought one at BJ's about three years ago. You could clearly see the outline of the steak. It's as if they used it, didn't even wipe it nevermind cleaned it, and returned it.
GROSS!

what I don't get is... why would B,B&B put a customer return back on the shelf without inspecting it? that's really gross!

Yuck! We got the same thing, but it looks clean. I'll definitely check out any other appliances before we use them though.
Yuk! I am shocked BB & B didnt look at it first before they accepted the return from the 1st people.

Re: Ewwww!!! Listen to this!!
i'm surprised someone would do that, but the bigger issue is bb&b selling used merchandise. i know they accepted it back, but who's to say they aren't going to put it right back on the shelf for re-selling?
