Ewwwwwwiiieeee!!!

Soo...I come home from work after food shopping all excited to start some DIY projects with the new stuff I got today... To find a naaasty surprise left from my 15 year old kitty... POOH! NAAASSTY! Usually he goes outside, but since it's too cold for his old bones, he refuses to now...so I had to TRAIN him to use the litter box...he feared it at first. So, he was doing fine excluding the first week...but today...it looked like he just couldn't hold it b/c there was this naaasty little poops all the way to the litter box. YUCK Soo...now it's all clean...almost an hour later...and smells like mint. Maaaybe NOW I can start my projects??? LOL

That stinks - literally!!!

Oh no!!!!! I don't want to scare you, but you should take him to a vet. I was just reading something last night about behavior to look at with cats (my cat has developed a really peculiar eating habit since he's been sick), and that was one of the three major signs to look for, not being able to make it to the bathroom. Given his age, you might want to have him checked out

Oh....try to be gentle on him.... I am sure he feels embarrassed.

One of my kitties was not feeling well and (this will prob. be TMI) but I think he farted and he sprayed poo all over.... he wasn't himself after that. I really think he felt stupid about it....

Aww thanks...he actually just came home from the vet the other day. I've become an over-protective mom lately due to his age... about a month ago he started getting this little bumps on his tail...so I brought him right in. It was nothing but dry skin...haha... so I had to buy kitty lotion... HAHAHA. Never knew such a think existed! HAHA. But now he's fine. Soo...if this happens another time or two THEN I will bring him to the vet again... Thanks for your concern.

HAHA..
I KNOW he feels embarrased...he was in hiding when I got home, and was afraid to come out. Finally I pulled him out of there and made sure he was ok. He started purring and all that... then starting yelling at me that he wanted food. HAHA. Spoiled kitty I tell ya! HAHA

Thank GOODNESS I'm a clean freak and have TONS of pretty smelling things and disenfectints! HAHAHA. FH got out of the shower and was like woooahh! I feel like I just stepped into a large LIME!! HAHAHAHAHA

i had the same problem with my 16 year old not making it to the litter box!! def keep an eye on him!

How is your cat doing btw?

in the veggie household we call these 'floor turds'
My cat is 15 and sometimes she doesnt make it to the box and leaves treasures on the ground hence the name.
