EX run in

A couple of years ago, when I first started dating FH, I found out that my Ex was having a baby with his new wife and I just broke down.. I didn't know what I was feeling at that point.. I guess bc I was still new somewhat in a relationship and he was off, settled, happily married, well off with a baby on the way, I was a mess.. Thank God I got over it..

I know it doesn't compare to what you went thru with your ex and I am sorry it brought back such sad memories.. it will be ok... you are a great girl marrying a great guy and you will live happily ever after..

Bumping into ex's can be such a mix of emotions. Sorry that you are so upset about this, I know it can be hard. I think you need a big hug from FH. Feel better and think about your wonderful up coming wedding!!

I am so sorry that you had to go through that. I am sure you got so emotional because it brought back all those feelings. Hang in there, it will get easier.

It's a hard thing and it's def normal. I ran into my ex in Target before I got engaged and almost died on the floor when I saw him

I get nervous everytime I go into Target now. . I saw him with his girlfriend at the time, now fiancee and that was a killer too considering he did the breaking up. Feel better and don't apologize for feeling the way you do. We all have a past and an ex.

Don't feel bad I went through it too. And its hard...especially when you try to be friends with them.

I still think about him and miss mine too. We went through a lot together and its just really hard to forget someone that will always be a part of your life.

I am so sorry you had to run into your ex. You reacted reasonably to me considering what you went through together. All of those memories will always be there, good and bad, but they led you to your FH.

I'm so sorry to hear this hun!! I don't think it's ever meant to just 'get over' something like that...it's ok!! It's totally understandable and you should not feel ashamed at all. Just think to yourself how wonderful a man you have now and all of the amazing times you have already have and will have! Nothing will replace or make you forget what did happen in the past but you will be able to find things to give you joy and help suppress it!! Hang in there hun and we're always here to listen!!

sry u ran into ur ex but its ok to cry and let it out its worst when feelings are kept bottled up...besides u went through a very emotional thing.....i know what ur going through my ex and i are actually freinds and when ever he talks about his girlfriend i kinda hate her only because he never says anything good and i kno he deserves better...we broke up on good terms...anyhow

Im sorry to hear that, I think of my ex every now and then and how it would be if we stayed together. Especially when me and FH are agruing all the time like now.

LOL...I feel the same way but I actually know I'd be upset just like the OP. Ex's stink! I hate even thinking about mine but every now and then I do. I think it's totally normal to do that...it would be weird to have zero feeling or thoughts about someone you shared so much with...but look at it this way, if you hadn't gotten out of that relationship, you wouldn't be where you are today. Feel better!
