Ex to the Hausted!
I am so tired! Luckily I have today OFF!!
This weekend was INSANE!
Friday I took off because I had to prep for our engagement party! Since it was a Country Chic theme EVERYTHING (in my own head) had to be homemade! My mom and sister came over Friday morning and we went to pick up the chairs, pans for the food, corn on the cob, get my ring cleaned and get our eyebrows done. Then we came home prepped 4 FULL trays of baby back ribs and three of chicken legs so that all that needed to be done was a quick basting of bbq sauce and a toss on the grill! Then we made 60 mini apple pies and about 150 mini corn muffins. They left around 6. Then my best friend came over and we made the centerpieces, bagged and tagged all the pies while I baked 75ish cupcakes!
Saturday my best friend came over and we set up the tables. I ran to get a haircut, came back and finished prepping. Even though I was running around ALL day bringing in and out trays of food, cleaning and such i had a great time! We invited our families, our bridal party and VERY close friends. I told FH ONLY the friends that we talk to at least daily. We had to cut it off somewhere. Even with that, we had about 50 something people show. It was a great time, everyone raved about the decor and food and LOVED the apple pies!!
Sunday I slept until noon and we made a trip to the cemetery to visit FH's father...Then I had to quick shower and change b/c my friend got us free tickets to see NKOTB The Package Tour! (I knew I'd eventually get cheap to free tickets for it!!) So I got home last night around 230am!!!
Today I am in the middle of cleaning up from the party (we have YET to open our presents!!)
I thought since I was taking a break, I'd post on here because I feel like SO much has happened in this one tiny weekend where I was MIA...(you know, all those makeup trials, Kristin finding a dress!!) Thanks for all the exciting stuff happening when I'm unable to stalk your lives ladies!!
