Exactly one year from today!!!!

I can't believe that I'm at the one-year mark already Time truly does fly when you're having fun - and now I'm starting to panic. We've gotten a lot of the big ticket stuff out of the way, but I know it's the little things that drive people nuts!!

So far we have booked the church, reception hall, photographer, videographer, and DJ. We're going limo shopping this weekend which has me a little freaked because both companies we are looking into (M&V & All Star) have completely mixed reviews.

Mom and I are also going Sunday to finalize my dress purchase - I tried on a dress like two months ago that I'm still thinking about - it's definitely the one

What other items should I focus on? I know the florist is probably the next big thing.

We picked the date in August, so I never had a one yoear to go - but 7 months today is my wedding

Hi Karen, I remember that one-year-to-go excitement! Good for you, you've done so much and still have lots of time.

Once you finalize your dress and headpiece, I'd start thinking about day of hair and makeup. Some of the makeup artists book far in advance. If you arrange for a few trials soon, you'll have plenty of time to decide on someone.

It's also never too early to work up your invitation list. I found this part of the planning to be pretty stressful. My FH has a HUGE family-it took some time to be sure we had everyone's current addresses, and we had to do some creative cutting down of the list.
