HOW DO I PUT SOMETHING IN A ROW IN ABC'S ORDER W/O DELETING IT??

-Highlight the row you want alphabetized.
-Click on DATA
-SORT, Expand the selection.
-SORT BY (you choose)
-Choose Ascending or Descending Order.

You need to have a colum for last name and a colum for first name, not unless you did both names in the same box with the last name first.

If you have two colums you select the colum with the last names first and highlight the colum with the first names next by dragging. the 'first' colum should have a white not colored in box at the top. that is the colum you want to sort. (so click colum say B first if it's the last names and then drag to colum A) go to the DATA menu and click sort and it should say Sort by colum B.

If colum A is your last names then sort by colum A and highlight colum A first.

If both names are in the same box, last name first then just sort that particular colum.
