Excellence Playa Mujeres

I already have my HM booked there, however, I want to book an excursion there for FH. I want to book Tulum or something similar as FH wedding gift - he's a SS teacher and would LOVE this. If anyone has done this, please let me know!!

i've done tulum...i think it's the nicest of the ruins in the area (i've been to them all)...it's gorgeous overlooking the water.

i also highly recommend xel-ha...you walk in and feel like you are at splish splash, but it's a lagoon and you snorkel and they have tubing and it's really awesome (i've been there twice) and relaxing, but more than just sitting on the beach.

Did you book it through the resort?

I've been to Tulum and Xel-ha as well, but FH has never been - just thinking it'd be something different for a wedding present.

yeah - it's easy enough. i didn't bother doing it through another tour group b/c i'm just too lazy to look into it. i booked it when i arrived, but it's easy to book ahead of time through the resort.

but i would definitely do tulum over coba or chichinitza simply for the beauty of it. you can get the history at any of the ruins, so it might as well be pretty (with a slight breeze off the water )
