Excellence Punta Cana

Excellence Punta Cana

My FH and I are def going to the DR for our honeymoon but I am tied between a couple of resorts. I want to stay in the Excellence and he is leaning to the Majestic colonial elegance or the Barcelo Bavaro palace. Does anyone have any helpful info on these resorts?

I havent been yet but we booked Excellence for our HM. It looks amazing and has great reviews on trip advisor. We also liked that it was adults only. HTH!

Hi, Jeannie!!!! My other Daughter, Debi, and her DH, went there, for their HM, as well as my niece and her DH. I think they all enjoyed it!!!!! Mary MOB

FH and I loooooved Excellence Punta Cana! The service was unreal, the food was great and the room was beautiful and always spotless. I actually got sick (I spent too much time in the sun) and they took amazing care of me, doctor on call 24/7 which to me is very important. as I am accident prone lol. The only thing that wasn't so great was the looooong ride to and from the airport. Other than that it was an amazing experience!

what type of room did you stay in?
was there nightly entertainment besides the casino and how loooong was that ride?

We stayed in a Garden/Mountain view junior suite. The ride, if I remember correctly was over an hour. There was a club and some bars open on premesis. The nightlife was pretty nice.

majestic colonial is soooooooooooooooo gorgeous I went there and am going back there after the wedding I would highly recommend it to anyone

We booked a junior garden suite. We got a great deal. Its only costing os 3800 for 10 days!

I got a sick deal for majestic elegance (the new one). Definatly check into it. We did the elegance club, have our own butler. Probably oceanfront room. Adults only area, etc for less than $3000 and that includes air.

We are booked for the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana. It is rated #1 of 91 hotels on trip advisor. We went all out and booked the ocean front suite. I can't wait to go!!!! Also, a girl I work with is having her wedding there the week before FH and I go there for our honeymoon. Good Luck!!

Also, check out the Melia caribe Tropical. My sister went a about 2 years ago, and her and her FH LOVED IT!!! that's where I was planning to go until I heard about majestic elegance.
