Excellence Riviera Cancun vs. Playa Mujures???????????

We've had to change our mini-moon from St. Lucia because our flights didn't work out and now decided on one of the Excellence resorts in Mexico! they are beautiful but which one???? And why one over another??

I've done a search on here already but there were a few girls saying that they had booked but with no update!

Those that have went, any recommendations (like type of room or excursion etc)

i havent been, but i've been researching Playa Mujeres and i dont know what you know, but what ive heard is that you fly into cancun and then take a ferry ride (30 minutes) to playa mujeres....
that playa mujeres is very secluded-
not that theres anything wrong with that- cause thats what im looking for......but i dont think there is as much nightlife as cancun.....

You can take a cab there. It's about 40 minutes away from the airport.

thanks ladies... i think FH and I have narrowed it down to EPM as our favorite over ERC but i dont think we could go wrong with either.

also, we didn't know if that was too far to do an excursion to some of the ruins? we wanted to do that but it looked rather far on the map. did any of you do this??
