omg this is me!!! i am so uninterested to be honest ... i hope this appointment will get me going. i did manage to google some photos to bring ... that's about it.

When I went looking, price to me was more important then what kind of flowers so I basically went in saying, I can spend $X what can you give me for that price? lol this way I knew I would stay on budget and didn't have to worry about any up-selling!

excited! - Long Island Weddings

Went to my first appt yesterday and it was easy peasy ( I was nervous and uninterested as well) I brought what I liked and she was soo helpful in telling me pros and cons with certain flowers and I origianlly wanted a cascade Bouquet for me and she was liek it will be way too heavy and recommended a tear drop so I have the hang with out the weight!!

had a great experience!!! i'm officially excited about flowers.

i also apparently have stronger feelings about what i like and don't like than i thought.

i went with a bunch of photos on my iphone and was able to work through centerpieces and BM bouquets, as well as my bouquet. i am a bit sad that my favorite flower isn't going to be in season! (peonies!) but, i was able to learn about some alternatives.

OMG Twinnie!!! I wanted peonies soooo bad, it's the one down side of August. Don't let anyone talk you into more expensive ones that they fly in from South America or Australia, they're not at all what we think of as peonies.

My florist told me about cabbage roses and garden roses; they look a lot like peonies and they're in season!
