So FH's best man is going to ask his girlfriend to marry him tomorrow in Chicago. Hes bringing her down there for a day of 'touristy' fun and then at some point in the day, 'when it feels right' (in his words) he will propose.
Thing im nervous about...he doesnt have the ring. I mean, he bought the diamond, had it set in the band, and is ready to go. But he doesnt physically have it. Something happened with the taxes and blah blah blah so now theyre overnighting it to their hotel where he will pick up the ring at the front desk. Does this make anyone else nervous?!!?
Please keep your fingers crossed for him that everything goes well....

How exciting! I wish them the best! On another happy note, our good friends, one of the groomsmen, proposed to his girlfriend tonight!!! Now I have someone to share all the madness with! haha!

Yeah, Im pretty happy that I'll have someone here (in Milwaukee) now that will understand what im going through...LOL!!
I dont think FH's friend realizes what hes getting himself into....

Oh....and I got to see her ring today when I went by the jewlery store to pick up my FH's wedding band. (had it engraved) Its sooooo beautiful! Princess cut, Tiffany setting....GORGEOUS! Shes gonna love it!!

yea my fh gave my ring to me on a cruise and he didn't think of getting it insured beforehand! he wished he had though, the way he was guarding that thing before he gave it to me! lol he kept it in his pocket the whole time!
