EXCITED W/ QUESTION *Orthodox Question

Very excited., our Kombarro brought us back Stefana (crowns) from Greece...

Does this mean I shouldnt wear a Tiara (or whatever else I decide on my head)

I think you can still wear a tiara..

when FH's sister got married, she wore a tiara, viel and the crowns and it was just fine!

BTW. I'm jealous.. I wish I had thought to buy my crowns when I was in Greece.

well i guess they can put it over it but maybe do something very simple, i dont know now im curious to check when i get home and look at my parents wedding pictures to see what they did or my aunt

yeah i think they just put it on top, they dont really fit it well or something like that.

Thats great, I like the stefana from there better than here. For my friends wedding she had a tiara but it was a flat one, it was more like a band around the top (kinda looked like stefana), it was very nice and then her koumbara did the crowning etc etc etc. You can have both a tiara and the crown. I thought I wanted a tiara but I am thinking of having a flatter band as my tiara, instead of a big one.

Question: I know the koumbari buy the crowns, but I am going to Greece this year , you think I should buy them myself from there or would that be disrespectful. ?????

it wasn't fitted.. it just laid on top of everything else.

Yeah the stefana dont fit perfectly on the head, they do the turly thing from your head and FH's head for a while then they take it off, you can still have a tiara of your choice on all day/night

Yes, I am doing the same with the head band type., I actually have my eye on something but not buying it yet.


About buying your own Stefana...you should ask them lol....i know what you mean though , but its your Koumbarri, they will understand
