I'm such an idiot, we booked our trip to St. Martin and I totally forgot to check my passport. I called the passport phone # and she said you have to wait until its 14 days before your departure to make an appt and go in person.
Has Anyone done this before? Did they give it back to you the same day or did they mail it? The lady said it depends...I am sooo worred now!
TIA

Re: Expediting Your Expired Passport...HELP!!!
There are services you can use that can get your passport the same day. It's expensive though. If you do a search for expedited passport service you will see the different companies that can help.

I went to the passport place when it opened (like 6am) or something and they gave me a appoinment for later on that day and I picked it up the next day. My flight was two days after the morning I went there.

you can also expedite it through the post office. it costs like an extra 40 bucks and you have your passport in 2 weeks. I did this once before

There's a place in the city you can go to and get an expired passport renewed same day.
