I'm not sure I even know 150 people. He has a large family but they're all over the country so I'm sure many of them won't be attending...

i could only wish. i believe ours was between $22 and $25k.

unless you're making your own invites, add more money on top. plus at 150 people....

honeymoon plus all the tips to everyone the day of (dj, photographer/videographer, limo drivers, etc)

So im trying to look at our budget, ( i know, its a bad word ) but I need help.

What other expenses are there? Ive used estimates since i havent booked much at all... if i am way off, please let me know

RH- $17000
photo/video -$3500
DJ $2000
Limo $1500
Invites $300
WP Gifts $1000
Favors $350
Flowers $2000
Attire $2000

Am I missing anything? Are my price guesses way off???

You may be able to find DJ for less, I know of some that are DM and MC for 1095-1500, it depends on what you want.

Attire, It depends on the dress. My dress was under 700, with alterations it may be 1000, so depending on what style and where you go to look, you may be able to reduce that. Are you including hair and makeup in the attire category?

Photo/video, I agree, it may be hard to do for under 3500. IF you hjust want the photos and you will make your own albums, there are some photo places for around 1800, and video can be found for 1400, so it is possible.

LImos, didnt book, so not sure on average price.

Invites, are you doing your own? YOu may need to increase the budget for them if you aren't. You will need 100 invites, give or take, and its possible, it will depend on the style you like.



Are you getting married at the hall, you will need to budget for the ceremony site, and if not provided by the ceremony location, the officiant fee.

Yeah, it all adds up doesnt it.

I called a few djs. and think we can be 1200-1500 which is better then i thought

Attire included shoes, make-up, dress, alteration and tux

Invites I was hoping for like $2 an invite....coming to like $150-$175 ish. Assuming $150 ish just for stamps..

Not getting married at RH so will have ceremony fee, officient etc

I wish i hadnt asked! I want to cry.

My father thought weddings were $20000 all together... but the RH put that over...way over... He's so cute!

Photo/Video: $5k easy.

RH: Depends really where you go, the time of year , day of week and how many people. Sundays and Thursdays are the cheapest, than Fridays and Saturday Afternoon, and Saturday Evening is the typically most expensive

Flowers: I really don't want to do more than $2000. I was told Good Luck. My friend spent over $3000 on her flowers, while my other friend did $2750.

Limo: Camelot and Royalty are reasonable.

Dress/Makeup/Hair: Depends on what you want and where you go. I think Makeup and Hair can average $150-$200 depending on what you do. And I think its per service. Shop around. For sure.

DJ/Band: See I don't really know about the price b/c a friend of ours is a DJ.

I am sure you will be fine with money. Don't worry!!!!!
