wednesday morning went to gym before work. weighed after: 129.0 lbs.
thurs - surgery, barely ate
yesterday - blah, ate soup and ice cream and oatmeal cookies
today - weighed myself - 133.5 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe because you didn't eat........not enough at least.
No worries, your weight goes up and down all throughout the week anyway.

When I got my wisdom teeth out I didnt eat solid food and barely even ate that. And I gained weight.
It'll even out by next week.

i had an IV last year when i got a virus in dominican republic. i gained 10 pounds! (it went away after about a week)

you probably have retained a ton of liquids from the IV's and all! Give it a few more days... its will go back to normal, probably even lower since your are not really eating much!

Surgery makes you retain water, My grandmother and cousin both had surgeries in the last few months and their weight would fluctuate by 20 lbs in a day! It wasn't 'real' weight, just fluid. Don't worry about it. I hope you are feeling better!

i agree with everyone, especially since you mentioned some *ahem* issues with going to the bathroom....its water weight! i weighed myself yesterday morning and I was 131.5 and this morning I'm 133. I know I didn't gain 1.5 lbs in 24 hours, its all water weight!
don't worry about your weight right now though, focus on getting better!!! that is all you need to worry about!
